Harry raged for weeks, winning handicap matches, defeating superstars in power shows, and mocking Undertaker signs and a winning position.
Harry called for better competition after the Highlanders' easy defeat. Smackdown 4 days later! Thus, Harry intervened in the Falls Countdown match anywhere in the bank between Kane and King Booker. Khali cost Kane the match, leading to a feud that culminated in a game of WrestleMania 23. In his first WrestleMania appearance, Khali defeated Kane at WrestleMania 23 after slamming him with the Khali Bomb. Immediately after the match, Khali choked Kane with a hook and chain.
On the April 30 edition of Raw, Khali attacked Shawn Michaels, Edge and Randy Orton (the top three WWE Championship contenders at the time) backstage. He then also attacked WWE champion John Cena, sending a message that he wanted the title from Cena. The following week on Raw, he defeated Khalil Michaels in the WWE No. 1 contender match on Judgment Day.
